Now Booking 2020 Weddings
We offer floral design year round for weddings as well as special occasions. Our designs are created with seasonal flowers sourced from our property, nearby farms, and on occasion may be selected from wholesalers. While focusing on seasonal flowers we love to discuss your ideas and welcome any materials and photos you found inspiration in. We look forward to discussing and collaborating with clients to design their floral wedding dreams!
For your flower needs we offer 3 options
Full Design Service
We will meet with you to discuss your vision and ask questions to understand your likes and dislikes. Once we know more about you and your style we will select our best seasonal blooms for your arrangements. We can provide the essentials such as bouquets, boutonnières, and corsages. We can also provide table arrangements and large floral installations such as arbors or chandeliers. Custom arbor design and construction is another service we provide.
This option will include charges such as delivery and set-up if requested.
For the couple who has a vision of working with their friends and family to dress their wedding with local blooms. When choosing this option one must be open to the types of flowers you could receive. We will fill the bucket with a selection of fresh flowers and filler in the color palette you choose. With everything that goes into a wedding you will need to be sure to have the amount of help you will need to pull off your vision. Realistically a couple will not have much time the day of the wedding to be arranging flowers and decorating their venue.
These buckets are also a great option if you want to put out flowers for birthday parties, retirement parties, bridal showers or rehearsal dinners.
A Mix of Both
In many cases couples would like to have buckets of flowers to design the venue but would also like a more carefully designed bouquet and bridal party flowers. We are happy to offer both options for your big day!

CSA stands for Community Supported Agriculture. In the CSA model a customer is purchasing a 'share' from the farm early in the season. The benefit to purchasing a Flower CSA is that you will receive bouquets of our most fresh and sustainably grown flowers. Our CSA bouquets are also sold at a discounted price compared to our in season bouquets.
When you buy into our Flower CSA you are making an investment in us and helping provide us with a cash flow during a seasonal lull and when expenses are at their highest. We are picking out and purchasing seeds, plants that need to be paid in advance, compost and seed starting supplies. As early as the end of February we will have our grow lights on and heat mats warm to ensure strong and healthy seedlings.
Why Buy Local Flowers?
Currently 80% of the flowers sold in the United States are imported, almost entirely from massive productions in Columbia and Ecuador. The journey from those countries to the US, then to stores where they are purchased, is several days long and requires loads of energy to transport and chemicals to preserve them. Many of the chemicals used to preserve them are banned for use in the United States. Lets not forget about the pesticides and chemical fertilizers used to grow them and the underpaid workers exposed to those chemicals.
Our flowers are grown using sustainable practices and without the use of chemicals. Your flowers will experience a modest commute to your home or event, and will not be wrapped in cellophane. By purchasing local flowers and other goods you are making a commitment to better environmental stewardship and keeping money in your local economy.

About Bounty O' Blooms
With the purchase of a property overlooking the Saco River, we immediately went to work transforming a shrubby woodlot. Opening up the land to more sunlight and feeding the soil were first on the list. We employ sustainable practices on our land. It is important for us to know we are making the land better by planting cover crop and distributing compost.
After planting a young orchard and establishing numerous gardens our hard work was rewarded by tall healthy plants and bucket loads of flowers! As the flowers bloomed with such abundance we decided to start Bounty O' Blooms. We offer a Flower CSA, floral design work, and DIY buckets of flowers for weddings and events.
Sarah has over ten years of farming experience, five of which she has been focusing on floral design. Twelve years ago she stepped onto a dairy farm looking for a job in agriculture. She has worked on several different types of farms learning from some of the most dedicated and hard working people she knows. After years of self reflection she has determined her small role in agriculture.
She works full time during the school year in special education. When she isn’t in the gardens she works part time taking kids at camp on wilderness trips.
Andy works full time as an accounting specialist. He is entering his 6th year as the head coach of a high school football team. His landscaping and building experience helps round out the skills of the team.
